Construction Skills Certification Scheme
CSCS card types
Choose the card that matches your occupation and qualifications. Most routes need a valid CITB Health, Safety & Environment test plus the right NVQ or equivalent.
Not sure which colour you need? Start with your job role and highest construction qualification. Labourers usually need Green; skilled trades with NVQ Level 2 need Blue; advanced craft and supervisors go Gold; managers need Black. Red cards are temporary routes while you work toward a full qualification.
